Discover the Acadiana Center for the Arts in the heart of Lafayette's flourishing downtown. The Center is located a the intersection of Jefferson and Vermilion Streets, and its architecture merges traditional and contemporary styles to create a stimulating setting for a wide range of arts- related and cultural events.

Facility Offerings:
The Acadiana Center for the Arts offers facilities for school tours, group tours, seated or buffet meals, dances, concerts, film screenings, meetings, birthday parties, wedding receptions, and other special events.
The Museum can accommodate up to 2,000 guests.

Spaces Available for Rent
Main Gallery (over 4,300 square feet) includes use of the first-floor lobby area, hallways and main reception desk.
Small Gallery (over 1,000 square feet) includes use of first-floor lobby area, hallways and main reception desk.
The Vault (over 470 square feet) includes use of first-floor lobby area, hallways and main reception desk.
The Art House (over 1,300 square feet) includes use of second-floor lobby area, hallways and Art House reception desk.
Board Room (over 320 square feet) includes use of Board tables and 15 chairs with wireless internet connection.

  • The Mail Gallery and Small Gallery can be made available at all functions.
  • Guided tours are also available upon request.
  • The Art Center can provide chairs for 50 people at no charge, with advance notice.
  • Paid parking is available in the municipal parking garage one block east of the Art Center, and on the street at metered spaces.

Rates:

  • Group Tours - $4 per person with a group of 20
  • School tours - $1 for each student, $2 with guided tour, 1 free chaperon
  • Main Gallery - $3,000
  • Small Gallery - $1,000
  • The Vault - $500
  • The Art House - $2,000
  • Board Room - $75
  • All rental fees are negotiable. Please call to speak with the Facility Manager about your event.

Policies and Procedures:

  • Events held during normal business hours of Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday 1-6pm, require signature of a one-page receipt and full payment.
  • Events held outside of normal business hours require signature on an 8-page contract, full payment, a certificate of insurance, and security.
  • All arrangements must be made at least one week in advance; refunds may be made if cancellation is at least 72 hours in advance of the event.
  • For insurance reasons, no fire or flame is permitted inside the Museum building.
