Lafayette is taking its marketability as a meeting and convention location to the next level with the Convention Center, which opened on April 30, 2002.  The $16.7 million Convnetion Center, which is adjacent to the 12,000 seat cajundome, offers nearly 100,000 square feet of meeting space on two levels.
