Advertising and cooperative advertising opportunities for members are available through the LCVC.

Trade Show Representation*
The membership will be represented by LCVC at all appropriate trade shows and is entitled to receive the leads generated by these trade shows, such as National Tour Association, American Bus Association, Travel South, Meeting Planners Marketplace and others.

Confidential Convention Calendar
Updated monthly and sent via e-mail, this publication outlines forthcoming conventions and meetings, providing you with the opportunity to offer goods or services to these conventions or to participate in trade shows. The calendar provides you with the name
of the group, date of the convention, meeting or trade show, contact name, address and telephone number, expected attendance and headquarter property or facility.

Increased Business
The LCVC will act as a referral service for its members, making available information on special events, research data and items of general interest. In addition, the LCVC will encourage its convention clients to use the goods and services of the membership as well as purchase its own goods and services from the membership.

Convention and Group Tour Leads*
Leads from the trade shows attended by the LCVC staff and other sources are available exclusively to members of LCVC.

Membership Luncheons/Receptions
Members host monthly dutch-treat luncheon membership meetings and an annual reception. The purpose of these gatherings is to provide members with an opportunity to learn about new programs and events, to network and to share industry information with each other.

Membership Decal
An attractive decal will be provided, which can be placed in the window of your establishment and/or on company vehicles, so that everyone will know that you support tourism.

Brochure Listings
LCVC provides several brochures and guides which give our members beneficial exposure including:

• Membership Directory: Each member is entitled to a listing, alphabetically and by category. These directories are sent to our members giving them the opportunity to do business with each other.
• Specialty Guides: These speciality guides list businesses that are of interest to visitors to Acadiana. They are distributed to visitors at the Visitor Information Center, to meeting planners and their delegates, are given away at trade shows attended by the LCVC staff and are mailed to potential visitors who requested information on the area. These specialty guides include the Lafayette Planner Guide and Bon Temps, the LCVC consumer response piece.
• On-Line Listings: Members are listed on the LCVC website at www.LafayetteTravel.com. E-mail and website links are included free of charge.

Brochure Display
We will display promotional brochures for appropriate members at no charge through our Visitor Information Center. Members will be notified when their supply is low and will be responsible for replacement.
