Travel Writer Policy

Lafayette Travel will provide the following services to verified travel writers:

Itinerary

An itinerary, if desired, will be developed to accommodate the writer's specific needs. The itinerary can include accommodations, meals, attractions and interviews.

Photographic Images

Lafayette Travel maintains a robust image gallery of open images should the writer need pictures to accompany a story.

Travel Writer Policy

Lafayette Travel outlines the following policy with regard to the serving of travel writers: 

Before any assistance is given, a writer - freelance or assigned - must provide Lafayette Travel with the following:

  • Name(s) of journalist and/or photographer
  • Email address
  • Contact Number
  • Detailed bio
  • Previous work samples
  • Two editorial references (name, publications, phone numbers).

The writer must also provide the following article-specific information:

  • Name of targeted publication(s).
  • Arrival date, length of visit, departure date.
  • Types of activities of special interest/focus of story/special requests.
